Those interested in DAR chapter must attend Saturday meeting

-A A +A

SHEPHERDSVILLE - A required preliminary Daughters of American Revolution  meeting will be held at March 30, at 11 a.m. in the meeting room of the Bullitt County Ridgway Library regarding the formation of the new DAR chapter for Bullitt County.

All ladies who have expressed an interest in joining this chapter are required to attend and sign their names to a form that must be sent to National DAR for the chapter formation to continue. We need YOUR signature!  If you have attended the workshops, called or met, you are on the “Interested” list and your signature is needed.

This includes all DAR ladies who are at any stage of membership at this time: New Applicants; Reinstated Members; Transferred In Members; Members Yet to Transfer, and any others who have expressed an interest in joining this new chapter.  If you cannot come, you are required to write a letter stating you do want this chapter formed, and it must be hand-signed. If you find you cannot attend, I request that you write or call me quickly so I can make arrangements with you to get your signature sent in within our time frame.  You may also have someone bring your letter to this meeting for you, if you cannot attend.

If we do not complete this action, we will not be allowed to form, so your presence and your signature are vitally needed.  Call Billye D. Jackson, Organizing Regent at 502-543-8559.

The first Official meeting will be at The Kettle Creek Restaurant in Mount  Washington on April 13 at  11:30 am, 1150 N.
