HILLVIEW - A three-car crossover accident resulted in a temporary road closure Thursday afternoon in Hillview.

The accident occurred near the 3000 block of E. Blue Lick Rd. at about 2:45 p.m., according to Zoneton Fire Capt. Steven Corbin.

Four people involved in the accident were transported by Bullitt County EMS. Hillview Police Ofc. Brian Denton said two received minor injuries while the other two received possible minor injuries.

According to Denton, with assistance from eyewitness accounts, a silver Dodge Neon, traveling southbound with a driver and passenger, crossed into northbound traffic.

A northbound driver in a dark green Honda Accord tried to avoid the Neon, but the vehicles collided head-on.

A third vehicle, a red Toyota Paseo traveling northbound, ran into the back of the Accord.

Zoneton firefighters performed rescue attempts on the Neon's passenger.

Traffic was shut down on E. Blue Lick for about an hour for clean-up.

Bullitt County Sheriffs and Pioneer Village Police units also responded.
