Timing on vote to alter board boundaries odd

While we are sure the intent was never to change boundaries on the five school board seats at the last minute, the latest decision makes things appear a bit messy.

An addition to the last month’s school board agenda, a committee recommendation to redraw the five districts was approved with little discussion.

For the most part, school board elections don’t draw a lot of interest, unfortunately.

And maybe this one would have fallen into the same category as the seats currently held by Tim Wiseheart and Dolores Ashby are up for bids.
