SHEPHERDSVILLE - A trial involving sex abuse allegations against a man who has also been accused of the 1999 murder of his niece has been delayed.
With discovery still not received from the commonwealth, defense attorney Kara Lewis requested a continuance in the trial against Stanley Dishon.
Assistant commonwealth attorney Mike Ferguson did not oppose the delay.
The new trial date for Dishon will be Jan. 28 with a pre-trial hearing set for Jan. 15.
Dishon is being tried on allegations of sexual abuse in the 1980s.
