SHEPHERDSVILLE - Two long-time members of the Bullitt County Sanitation District have been replaced and the other has resigned.
Bullitt County Fiscal Court approved County Judge Melanie Roberts’ proposal to remove Gary Seigle and Kevin Holloway due to not meeting the residency requirements.
After that, chairman Jim Hamilton submitted his resignation.
County attorney Monica Robinson said that in researching the ordinance and state statute regulating the sanitation district, it is clear that neither met the requirements.
