MOUNT WASHINGTON ee"Police are investigating a disturbing string of vandalism incidents targeting the Autumn Glen subdivision between Armstrong and Bleemel Lanes.

Mount Washington police received a call about the incidents shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday. The vandalism included graffiti on several homes, a vehicle and some street signs.

Officer Tim Morris responded to the scene and found that one targeted residence housed an African American family upon which the graffiti appeared to be racially derogatory.

Det. Buddy Stump said two juveniles were involved in the incident. He said the case has been turned over to the Bullitt County Court Designated Worker’s office.

Stump said there were 12 separate incidents of graffiti in the neighborhood, but no certain streets appeared to be targeted.

“It was scattered throughout that particular neighborhood,” Stump said.
