BROOKS--Two students were taken to Jewish Hospital Medical Center South on Friday afternoon after their bus was struck.
According to superintendent Keith Davis, who went to the hospital with the children, the injuries did not appear to be serious.
Around 35 students were on a bus stopped at a railroad crossing on Highway 1020 near Solite.
The bus was struck by a small van, in which the driver may have been distracted.
The students, who were from Brooks Elementary, were loaded into another bus and taken home.
