 UPDATE (08/13): Mount Washington council member Lloyd "Shot" Dooley has withdrawn from the city council race.

Meanwhile, Shepherdsville resident Gaynell Rummage, who originally ran for mayor, has filed as an independent candidate for Shepherdsville's city council.

SHEPHERDSVILLE - The field has now been set as a few last-minute filings will provide some interesting races in the Nov. 4 general election.
