The National Weather Service issued a continuance on the winter storm warning for Bullitt County through 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
A winter storm warning means significant amounts of snow. Sleet and freezing rain are expected or occuring. Travel becomes hazardous or impossible. Bridges and overpasses could become slick.
A mixture of wintry precipitation occurred throughout the area Tuesday morning ranging from snow to freezing rain.
Snow and sleet accumulation of one to four inches is possible across central Kentucky.
