SHEPHERDSVILLE - A traveling memorial to the over 58,000 Americans who lost their lives or are missing in Vietnam has made its appearance in the Louisville area on several occasions in the past.
However, the Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall will have a Bullitt County flavor when it is on display Sept. 9-11 at Resthaven Memorial Park on Bardstown Road.
The wall will be driven into Louisville on two tractor-trailer trucks led by a Patriotic Parade of Bikes, sponsored by the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club.
