 SHEPHERDSVILLE - You may have seen a bumper sticker that read, "If you can read this, thank a teacher." 

With patience and skill we do learn to read, write and do arithmetic. But what happens when a teacher retires? 

Well, in Bullitt County, they continue to quietly serve our community. 

Bullitt County Retired Teachers Association members have raised thousands of dollars for the Relay for Life and given scholarships to local high school seniors.
