MOUNT WASHINGTON - Nobody expected the Bullitt East Chargers to pick up exactly where they left off last season, despite being the sixth-ranked team in the state in the pre-season coaches’ poll.
That was good, because the first week of the season proved to be a challenge for the defending Sixth Region and Semi-State champions as they could only post a 3-3 record. There was some good news in those results and some very frustrating points.
