SHEPHERDSVILLE – The art of summer vacation fun is not lost on Shepherdsville Elementary students.The school’s first annual summer art camp, funded by the Family Resource Center, allowed students an opportunity to enhance their artistic abilities.Shepherdsville FRC coordinator Traci Gould said the art camp was originally available for students referred by their teachers. It was later opened to all Shepherdsville students.“It was for any student that was interested in art,” Gould said.Local artist Diana Colgate volunteered as the camp’s art instructor.
