Zoneton’s Breann Stewart wins state middle school high jump

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - For the second straight year, Zoneton Middle School produced a winner at the Kentucky Track and Cross-Country Coaches Association Middle School State Championships when eighth-grader Breann Stewart won the high jump at the state meet on May 15 at Dunbar High School in Lexington.

Stewart was the only one of the 30 competitors to clear 4-8 to take the title. Three other girls managed to clear 4-6. The competition was conducted during a rainy day.
