 MOUNT WASHINGTON – Over the years, there are many things that teachers would like to have for their classrooms or field trips they would like to take with their students.

    WEST POINT – Firearms enthusiasts from across the country will flock to western Bullitt County this weekend for what has become one of the area’s biggest attractions. 

 Results from the regional Governor's Cup academic competition:

Mathematics written assessment – First Place – T.J. Bloomer of Maryville; Second Place – Logan Parrish of Mt. Washington; Third Place (tie) – Abey Hicks of Brooks and Aaron Gates of Crossroads; and Fifth Place (tie) – Ben Bouakham of Brooks and Reece Tomlinson of Pleasant Grove.

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - At this event, everyone was less concerned with temperature. Rather, it was about wind speeds.

The inaugural Shepherdsville Egg Drop took place at the Greater Bullitt County Youth Football League Facility.

About 15,000 eggs were made available to almost 2,000 youth attending the event.

For safety reasons, the plastic eggs dropped by a helicopter were empty. All participants received a bag of Easter candy following the event.
