 BROOKS - Following the celebration of Earth Day throughout the planet, Brooks Elementary students were left holding the bags.

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - Plans have been finalized and citizens of Bullitt County now know how to get rid of their waste.

 The Easter Bunny was busy during the annual Hillview Easter Egg hunt.

From offering to hold some of the candy for the little hunters to posing with a youngster for a picture to trying to coax a youngster to come have his picture taken, the Easter Bunny was the main center of attention.

The Operation Santa committee in Hillview sponsored the annual event.

  While thousands of college basketball fans flocked to New Orleans for Saturday’s historic NCAA Final Four matchup of the University of Louisville Cardinals and the University of Kentucky Wildcats, many Bullitt Countians watched the Battle of the Bluegrass from the comfort of their favorite watering holes.
