  MOUNT WASHINGTON - The season for fresh local produce is upon us and area farmer’s markets are in full swing. 

 Students from Bullitt Central High School were no underdogs when it came to their participation in the annual Pegasus Parade.

They assisted Little John’s Derby Pawn by handling the Underdog balloon in the parade. The entry placed second in the parade. 

For the help, the owner of Little John’s made a donation to the school’s Project Graduation program.

  The annual Red Crow Indian Council Pow Wow was held over the weekend at the Shepherdsville City Park.
