  • Showcase devoted to health, business, schools

     SHEPHERDSVILLE - Local businesses and individuals are encouraged to get their coins ready to support their favorite schools once again at the annual Showcase Bullitt County and Health Fair.

  • National Quartet Convention kicks off in Louisville

     LOUISVILLE - The 54th Annual National Quartet Convention kicks off on Sunday evening in Louisville at the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center.

    The event is expected to bring more than 40,000 people to the city for Southern Gospel Music’s largest event. A Sunday evening concert serves as the official kick-off for the week, as The Hoppers, The Booth Brothers and Greater Vision (pictured in attached jpg) will be featured in a 6:00pm concert in East Hall.

  • Vietnam Wall

     Hundreds of bikers led the Vietnam Wall display through the streets of Shepherdsville on Tuesday en route to its display this weekend in Resthaven Memorial Park.

    People lined the parade route to give honor to the mobile display and the veterans who served in Vietnam and those who lost their lives.

     CLERMONT - The weather was perfect at the Bullitt County Fairgrounds for the 8th Annual Bluegrass 101 Festival.

    The host band was joined this year by Paul Williams and the Victory Trio, Mississippi Sawyers, Mountain Drive, Common Ground, The High Rollers and Country Grass.

     SHEPHERDSVILLE - A traveling memorial to the over 58,000 Americans who lost their lives or are missing in Vietnam has made its appearance in the Louisville area on several occasions in the past.
