 FOX CHASE - Owen Taylor, pictured with his helpers and granddaughters - Haley, 5, and Shelby, 8 - had a very good year.

 Dr. James Cundiff was honored by Bullitt County Judge/Executive Melanie Roberts and fiscal court members on Tuesday.

Jan. 15, 2013, was proclaimed as Cundiff’s day.

He retired after 34 years of medical service in Bullitt County.

For well over 20 years Cundiff served as the medical director for Bullitt County EMS on an unpaid, volunteer status.

He also served as chairman of the Bullitt County Public Health Board for over three decades.
