CAMPBELLSVILLE -- As the winter months come to a close, spring is on the horizon, and it is coming just in time for Campbellsville University’s Spring Break March 14-18.
Students and teachers will rush to beaches and vacation spots to enjoy this new season. However, instead of enjoying the warmer weather and relaxation, 30 CU students and faculty members are rushing to serve orphans, prison inmates and their fellow spring breakers.
Danita Cobble has been hired as the newest Technology Integration Specialist (TIS) for Bullitt County Public Schools. She joins current district TIS’ Keith Barnes, Christie Turbeville and Susan Vincentz.
“I am excited to be joining Bullitt County’s Technology department and getting in at the beginning of such an amazing transformation!” she said.
Nichols and Shepherdsville Elementary School special education teacher Jessica Smith is sacrificing her long locks of brunette hair (again) for cancer patients.
Smith has volunteered to have her head shaved during the annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation event Saturday, March 12 at Louisville Slugger Field. This will be the fourth time she has cut and donated her hair for cancer where it will become a wig as part of Locks of Love.
