 Bullitt Central celebrated Homecoming on Friday during the basketball games with Iroquois.

The 2012 Queen and King were seniors Tori Boston and Luke Whitmore.

Boston is the daughter of Ted Boston and Linda Andrews while Whitmore is the son of Dwight and Patty Whitmore.

    Bullitt High School sophomore Phillip Burress has earned a 2011 YMCA Youth Character Award.
    Phillip was nominated for the honor by Eastside Middle School teacher Sarah Mills. He received a trophy, certificate and $500 during an award dinner in the Crystal Ballroom at the Brown Hotel in Louisville.

 MOUNT WASHINGTON - Shortly after Mount Washington Middle held a school wide food drive, sixth and seventh graders on the Dream Team decided to hold one of their own.

    MOUNT WASHINGTON - Christmas came early for one local youngster when she was selected to play in the Louisville Ballet's 2011 production of "The Nutcracker."
    Old Mill Elementary fourth grader Whitney Fox, who has taken dance lessons since she was a toddler, auditioned for her part in August.
