Crosswalk, a Christian Rock band of local residents, now sees its biggest moments ahead, securing a spot in the Ichthus Festival, one of the longest-running and largest Christian music events in the country.

Bernheim Celebrates National Pollinator Week

Bernheim will close out the celebration of National Pollinators week with a Butterfly hike from 11:00am – noon on Saturday June 27th. (Please register in advance by calling (502) 955-8512.)

By proclamation, Governor Steven L. Beshear recognizes June 22-28, 2009 as Pollinator Week in the state of Kentucky.

In trying economic times the Bullitt County Fair serves as affordable family entertainment close to home.

The Fair Board hopes to include as many fun things to experience as possible during this year's event, scheduled June 15-20.

Fair Board president Jimmy Anderson said some changes were made following last year's attendance drop. He added that the Fairgrounds' centralized location, free parking and special events for a $10 admission was a good deal.

"Hopefully everybody will come out," said Anderson. "It's a good price for what you get."

SHEPHERDSVILLE - Bullitt Lick Middle School played host to the 11th annual Community Baby Shower sponsored by Bullitt County Family Resource Centers and the Bullitt County Health Department.

There were 50 patrons including expecting mothers and new parents with children up to six months of age.

The Baby Shower offered an opportunity for new and expecting parents to collect information from various resources and organizations available in the community.
