  MOUNT WASHINGTON – When you have been on the varsity team for six seasons, are the state’s seventh leading scorer and the favorite to be named Miss Basketball, the coach doesn’t need to remind you to pick up your game in the fourth quarter of a tight contest.

Bullitt East senior Lindsey Duvall knew what her team needed and she responded with 14 of her game-high 26 points in the final three minutes on Tuesday to help lift the Lady Chargers to a 70-66 victory over arch-rival Mercy in a battle of two of the state’s top-20 teams.
