Local softball teams struggling to find victories

SHEPHERDSVILLE – The first two-plus weeks of the high school softball season have been a struggle for the three Bullitt County programs and that includes Bullitt East, a team that started the season ranked ninth in the coaches’ pre-season poll.

The Lady Chargers return starting pitcher Taylor Roby and while the junior has been strong, she had gotten little help at the plate and even less help from her defense as the Lady Chargers stand just 3-4 with two games this week before the team heads to Florida for spring break.
