OT ecstasy!! Cougars win fifth straight

SHEPHERDSVILLE – A fourth-down, 1-yard plunge by Trevor Carnell and then the extra point kick by Cameron Dukes were the difference Friday as Bullitt Central pulled out a 28-27 overtime victory against visiting Elizabethtown.

The Panthers had the ball first in overtime and they scored on first down on a 10-yard pass from quarterback Hunter Sullivan to tight end Jack Wilson. However, the extra point kick came off low from the foot of Peyton Payne and was deflected at the line of scrimmage, never getting above the crossbar.
