  • Interstate 65 lane closures in Bullitt County June 17

     Louisville, KY (June 17, 2013) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists of lane closures today and this evening on southbound Interstate 65 in Bullitt County.  KYTC crews will be patching the pavement in the right lane on two different sections of the interstate. 

    The first section of work will occur between mile points 108 and 110 today from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  The second section of work will take place this evening between mile points 118 and 120 from 6:00 p.m. until midnight.

  • Constable enters guilty plea

     MOUNT WASHINGTON – Just hours after resigning from office, Clifton Joel Hudson entered guilty pleas in Bullitt Circuit Court to a pair of drug-related indictments.

         Hudson, 43, entered a guilty plea to one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

         This was a result of a May 28 buy with a confidential informant at his Mount Washington home.

  • Constable resigns after drug-related charges

     MOUNT WASHINGTON – On Tuesday morning, a thin and pale Clifton Joel Hudson appeared in Bullitt District Court for a probable cause hearing on his latest drug-related charge.

         By 7 p.m. last night, Hudson had tendered his resignation as constable of the Second District.

         Hudson’s second case in the past year on drug-related charges will now be in the hands of the Bullitt County Grand Jury.
