SHEPHERDSVILLE -- Bullitt County officials made a deal with the state revenue cabinet and former sheriff David Greenwell to help pay off a debt.
However, Bullitt Fiscal Court voted unanimously to withhold payments for the months of September, October and November.
That $638,860.87 debt was incurred by the sheriff’s office when the system of funding changed.
As part of the agreement, Bullitt Fiscal Court agreed to pay $14,000 per month to the state through December 2018, when a final payment of $162,860.87 would be due.
