 CEDAR GROVE - A pair of recent recommendations by the Bullitt County Joint Planning Commission didn’t set well with members of Bullitt Fiscal Court.

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - As the search begins to hire a new director for the Bullitt County Economic Development Authority, the calls from potential prospects continue.

 HILLVIEW - Sleep Outfitters, a Louisville-based company, has opened a new location in Hillview.

The newest of the chains 150 stores in open for business at 5009 Mud Lane next to the Kroger store.

The company offers many features that will help its customers sleep better and rest well at night.

“This new location is important to sleep comfort in the area,” said sales associate and acting store manager Ken Hatton.

“We’re gonna help people to get a better night’s sleep.

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - An effort to adopt a new ordinance to set up the Bullitt County Economic Development Authority met with opposition on Wednesday.

And the measure was voted down 3-2.

That came after some very pointed and very heated discussion - including allegations of illegal meetings, lack of transparency and a motive on why the ordinance was even brought up after 30 years.
