SHEPHERDSVILLE -- While county officials look for the root of the problem, Bullitt Fiscal Court members voted to spend up to $4,000 to get rid of mold growing in portions of the detention center.
Jailer Martha Knox reported the mold problem about a month ago to county officials.
Since that time, bids have been received.
The mold is in the large room used for video arraignments and in the GED room.
Both are critical to the operation of the facility, said Knox.
