PIONEER VILLAGE - An annexation request was officially placed onto the 2014 election ballot.
However, no one would be able to cast a ballot to vote on it.
City attorney Mark Edison explained the unique situation at the Pioneer Village October council meeting.
According to Edison, the language used pertaining to the annexation of the property was on the ballot as a required by statute.
The property, formerly the residence of John and Mary Harper, lies adjacent to the Little Flock Baptist Church property.
