SHEPHERDSVILLE -- A man who was convicted of murder in 1983 is now back in trouble with the law.
James Edward Rummage, 61, has been indicted on the charge of sexual abuse.
But he is also charged with being a persistent felony offender for convictions in 1983 and 1976, including one for murder.
According to the indictment, on March 17, 2015, Rummage allegedly had sexual contact with a female less than 12 years of age.
That is a Class D felony, which is punishable by 1-5 years in prison.
