SHEPHERDSVILLE -- What would your middle or high school student think if the only thing he or she might be carrying to class would be a lightweight computer?
Sound like something only big, rich school districts would have?
Starting next year, the Bullitt County Public School System will implement a program to provide laptops to students in grades 9-11.
By the 2019-20 school year, everyone from grades 6-12 will have the devices.
The school board gave its approval to move ahead with the program.
