 SHEPHERDSVILLE - The Class of 2024 braved the elements to attend their first major school event, the Kindergarten Kickoff, hosted by the Bullitt County Public Schools Family Resource Centers.

 SHEPHERDSVILLE - Traditional summer school — the kind in 80s movies, where kids are stuck behind desks, peering out the window to watch their friends run wild in the parking lot — doesn’t quite exist anymore.

   Amanda Cape and Valerie Terry of Bullitt Central High School, Helen Heines of North Bullitt High School and Evan Young of Bullitt East High School are the 2011 recipients of a $2,000 college scholarship from Bullitt County Farm Bureau.
