SHEPHERDSVILLE - Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in Kentuckians, far ahead of cancer.
"Our goal is to increase awareness of heart disease," said Liz McGuire, Bullitt County Health Department education coordinator. "It affects everyone. We want to promote facts and healthy lifestyles."
The Health Department features life-changing information and tips, along with a good time, during its annual Healthy Hearts Wear Red Luncheon at Paroquet Springs Conference Centre.
