ROADWORK: Week of March 18

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 5 reports the following roadwork scheduled for the week of March 18:

Bullitt County:

KY 44: Delays possible between Bullitt Lick Creek and Saltwell Road in Shepherdsville (mile points 10.3 to 11.7) due to sidewalk repairs and improving ramps to ADA compliance. Motorists should watch for flagging operations Monday – Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

I- 65 lane closures scheduled for March 14

Louisville, KY (March 13, 2013) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists of a lane closure on southbound Interstate 65 in Bullitt County. KYTC crews will be making some pavement repairs between mile points 117 and 115. The left and center lanes will be closed on Thursday evening, March 14 from 7:00 p.m. until midnight.

The annual KidsFest celebration hosted by the Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce was again a big hit.

That is, unless you might be afraid of snakes.

One of the visitors actually had an opportunity to hold a snake provided by Bernheim Arborteum and Research Forest.
