  • Two Bullitt East tennis entries headed to state

     FRANKFORT - Both the Bullitt East Chargers and Lady Chargers came up short in the battle for the team titles in last week’s Eighth Region Tournaments in Frankfort, but each program advanced one entry to this week’s Kentucky State Tennis Tournaments in Lexington.

  • KSP Steps Up Enforcement Over Memorial Day Weekend

     FRANKFORT - The Kentucky State Police report that aggressive driving, failure to use seat belts and driving while impaired are the top three dangers faced by motorists on Kentucky highways during the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.

    Accordingly, the law enforcement agency plans to intensify its traffic safety and patrol efforts beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27 through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2011.

  • UPDATE: 24th District finals

     UPDATE (05/27): OKOLONA - The Bullitt East Chargers dominated the diamonds, winning both the 24th District Baseball and Softball Tounaments.

    The boys won easily in a 9-2 rout of North Bullitt.

    The Lady Chargers were able to fend off Bullitt Central by a score of 5-2.

    The final two teams in each tournament will both advance to the Sixth Region Tournaments next week.

     Tornadoes have wreaked havoc across the country. Thousands have lost their homes and all of their belongings. Others have lost their loved ones.
