SHEPHERDSVILLE - Facing a shortfall of $2 million, county employees may be taking a lot unpaid time off in the upcoming fiscal year.
Bullitt County Judge/Executive presented her 2009-10 fiscal budget to magistrates on Thursday.
The county budget of $15,3 million is about $2.7 million less than the current plan.
Bullitt Fiscal Court members will take the proposal and a final budget will be approved prior to June 30.
The key plan to balance the budget will come through going with a four-day work week for non-emergency employees.
