SHEPHERDSVILLE - Tomorrow evening the Bullitt County Public Schools Board was to consider a plan to outsource the district’s janitorial services.
The controversial proposal put forth by BCPS Superintendent Keith Davis could have saved the district nearly $250,000 a year, but it would cost 80 custodians their jobs.
That has now been pulled from consideration.
In a statement Saturday, Davis said there was no support from the board to move forward with the cost-saving proposal.
