  • Time for prayer

First of all I was a sinner, saved by the grace of God just as you were.

Second, I am a disabled veteran of World War II and proud of it. I have been in church as long as I can remember. I can see a drastic change in our society and the church today.

At one time, our nation wasknown as a Christian nation. Not today.

And the church today is filled with so much rock throwing back and forth and gossip. This is sin within itself and yet there are some who act so holy holy and they are the ones who are throwing the rocks and gossip.

  • Brooks PTA

The Brooks PTA would like to thank the following companies for their donation to our Fall Festival. Because of their generosity we had a very successful event.

  • Fellowship of Concern

As current president of The Fellowship of Concern, “Thank You” for your coverage of Community Thanksgiving Service held at First Baptist Church in Shepherdsville the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving.

After reading the article, I do want to clarify, a bit, about the Fellowship. Mentioned, were several churches represented in the leadership of the Worship Service. I want to give recognition and thanks to all the churches and the Community at large that support the Fellowship of Concern.

  • Linda a public servant

Thank God that our folks who were not all happy with the outcome of the election did not react like many in nation by disrupting the lives of their fellow man by seizing the streets protesting. If life gives you a lemon, make lemonade, for 4 days and nights they have disrupted our nation apparently they never work or go to school to improve their lifestyle. Instead of being negative look at what they could have done for our nation, volunteering to clean up their neighborhoods.

  • Thanks for DARE support

On behalf of the Bullitt Co. Sheriff’s Office we would like to thank Everyone who supported our D.A.R.E. Chili Supper.

You may have made a donation for the raffle, gave money or just came and ate. Your generosity was greatly appreciated. Without the support of the community, we could not have the D.A.R.E program. We would also like to thank the First Baptist Church for the use of their hall, the Bullitt Co. Women’s Club and the employees of the Sheriff’s Office.

  • Carroll for Belcher

Please allow me a few thoughtful moments as you prepare to cast your vote for someone to continue to strongly speak for you at your State Capitol in the Kentucky House of Representatives. As your former governor and now a state senator for some 12 years, I want to share with you that the re-election of Linda Belcher is vital to Bullitt County.

  • Mended Hearts says thanks

We just wanted to say a special thank you to everyone who supported and participated in the Mended Hearts Third Annual Golf Scramble.

We could not have had this success without your sponsorships, donations and participation to raise awareness for heart disease.

  • Curtis Hockenbury right choice

The best news I have seen for Bullitt County in a long time is Curtis Hockenbury being elected mayor.

I have known and worked with him for years and I know he will seek God’s guidance and wisdom and will be a public servant.
