A recent letter to the editor praising the magistrates for their efforts of overseeing how our tax money is spent was not entirely accurate.
Mr. (John) Bradshaw was not the first to report an accounting error that results in the overpayment to the county attorney’s office. The county attorney reported the error.
In fact, when the error was reported, Mr. Bradshaw showed very little concern over the error, stating he was reasonably sure it was a simple mistake. I was present and did not hear him ask any questions as to how this could have happened.
