  • Vote for Keith

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, the citizens of Bullitt County will elect their Circuit Clerk.

I am pleased to has served the community for decades. Her father, Paul Keith, has been a barber at Keith’s Barber Shop in Shepherdsville for 54 years and her mother, Rhonda Keith, was Bullitt County Property Valuation Administrator for 14 years. Paulita brings this history, along with a good business background into public service.

  • Vote for Portman

Faith Scott Portman is a clear choice to be re-elected to the Shepherdsville City Council. She has been our voice, standing up for issues that effect our daily lives.

She stands for our core values. She voted against the high sewer rate increase, when other council members pushed it through.

    We got to have Faith.

    Herman and Joan French Schlageter

  • Re-elect Linda Belcher

I totally agree with others that Linda Belcher is the best choice for state representative for Bullitt County.

  • Vote for Belcher

Linda Belcher is a strong voice in the Kentucky legislature for Bullitt County. We all know the efforts she has put in to gain funds for our roads. And all of the committees she serves on in the House of Representatives have an impact on our county. Linda is vice-chair of the Education Committee, serves on Economic Development and Task Force, Transportation, and the Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Safety Committees.

  • Vote for Keith

I have worked with Paulita Keith since 1997. While I am extremely happy that she is running for Bullitt Circuit Clerk, I will miss working with her in the future.

  • Step up Bullitt County

This January I stepped up to run for the open Kentucky Senate created by legislative redistricting. Within 45 days the redistricting plan was declared unconstitutional by the Kentucky Supreme Court. My candidacy and Bullitt County’s chance for a state senator effectively ended with that ruling.

  • Vote for Linda Belcher

I urge your continued support for Linda Belcher to remain as your representatives for District 49 in Bullitt County. Although I live in Nelson county, I know Linda by working with her on the Bullitt County Foundation for Excellence in Public Education board of directors.

  • Right in our backyard

In regards to the Bullitt County Stone rezoning hearing on July 12, 2012, I would like to say that I was shocked and disgusted at the behavior of Attorney David Pike (representing Bullitt County Stone).

Never before I have I seen someone show such arrogance and disrespect before a government body as well as to the citizens of Bullitt county as this man did. It was very obvious he had no desire to answer any questions from the zoning board or the citizens present nor present any evidence that this rezoning should take place.

  • Support Linda Belcher

As a life time resident of Bullitt County, I greatly support the candidacy of Linda Belcher to continue as the State Representative from her district.

Ms. Belcher has continued the legacy of her deceased husband, Larry Belcher, by working diligently to bring back large sums of money to Bullitt County for roads and other infrastructure projects. In addition, Ms. Belcher continues to demonstrate her dedication to all of Bullitt County by attending school, Board of Education, church, and community events, as well as actively seeks out ways to help her constituents.

  • Bigotry only hurts

While reading on E. C. Lee’s opinion letter in the July 18, 2012 edition of  The Pioneer News, it came to my attention that there is some confusion on who makes up this so mentioned “devil’s crowd.”
