  • Vote for Robinson

I would like to ask all my family and friends to please vote to retain our friend and neighbor Monica Robinson for our County Attorney.

Monica has worked very hard these last four years as our county attorney and has saved the Bullitt County taxpayers thousands and thousands of tax dollars. Monica loves the Lord, her family, friends and neighbors. Monica is very active in her church and our community in many areas like CASA, Dare to Care and AARP to name a few. Monica has lived in Bullitt County all her life.

  • Vote for Wooldridge

I worked for John Wooldridge for 32 years before I retired.

As his secretary, I saw an attorney who worked long hours doing a lot of research and study so he was well prepared to represent his clients in court.

John has been an attorney for a long time and he knows what is needed to get a job done well.

On a personal note, John is also very down to earth. He enjoys gardening, hunting and fishing, which helps him to identify with people on many levels.

  • Vote for Robinson

Monica Robinson cares about the children of Bullitt County. As the County Attorney Monica is responsible for the prosecution of parents and caregivers who abuse or neglect the children.

I believe there have been approximately 500 new cases of abuse and neglect each year since Monica became County Attorney. As a volunteer with the court system I have seen Monica in action in court. Monica has allays shown her concern for the children and their future. I have learned a lot from Monica’s hard work in the courtroom and have so much respect for her.

  • Vote for Dan Patchin

I would like to take a moment to recommend that all democrats vote for Dan Patchin for Bullitt County Jailer this coming May. I have know Dan for many years and he is dedicated to the county and the people he serves.

Dan has always been a professional and brings a great deal of integrity to everything he does. It’s time for this county to bring this type of leadership to the Bullitt County Jail. I know that he will be responsive to the needs of the citizens and answer questions directly and honestly.

  • Officials deserve thanks

I have heard with interest the political promises of the reduction of sewer rates for the users of the Shepherdsville sewer system. It is an empty political promise made without an understanding of the circumstances.

Currently, the City is indebted for a sum in excess of $30 million for the sewer system. This debt has been passed from one generation to another due to poor management of past City Councils who incurred debt as a matter of course. The debt structure is such the expense will be shared with our children and grandchildren.

  • Easter poem

As we celebrate Easter once again,

Ma we all remember that Jesus died for our sins

They mocked, and abused Him, and made Him a crown of thorns,

Then He was betrayed by Judas one of His own.

He was nailed to the cross

    between two thieves

While His Mother, and loved ones

    Look on, and grieved.

He told his disciples that He must die

And He explained to them how and why.

He also told them after tree days He would rise,

  • Helicopter Drop thanks

On behalf of the churches involved in the Helicopter Egg Drop at the fairgrounds on Saturday, I would like to say “thank you,” to all the volunteer workers who gave of their time and money to make this event a success.

  • Vote for Tom Kelly

I am pleased to endorse Tom Kelly for 4th District Magistrate.

In the 32 year I’ve known Tom, he has proven to be a very dedicated, hardworking and loyal leader in the community.

  • Vote for Robinson

I have known Monica Meredith Robinson since she was born. To say I have been highly offended by the ads that attack her personal and professional character would be a severe understatement.
