• Goodall a fine man

I had the honor of doing the funeral service for Matthew Goodall a Schoppenhorst-Underwood-Brooks Funeral Home.

  • Thanks for ministry support

We would like to thank everyone who donated money or supplies to help make our school supply drive through the Mount Washington Community Ministry for 2012 such a huge success! We were able to help over 250 children with the supplies they needed for this school year. It was such a blessing to be able to see the kids’ faces as their backpacks were filled with the items that each individual teacher had requested.

  • Thanks to Bullitt East

Crystal Barr, counselor and Willie Foster, principal at Bullitt East High School care about the kids and their future. I sent an email to Ms. Barr, which was forwarded to Mr. Foster. I received a call from Mr. Foster an hour after the email was sent.

  • Vote for Heaton

I want to ask everyone that is in the 50th Kentucky House of Representative District to vote for Dick Heaton. These are the three precincts in the Mount Washington area that are the B104 (Mt. Washington #10), B109 (Mt. Washington #7A) and B112 (Mt. Washington #7B).

  • Supports Belcher

I am writing this letter in support of  Linda Belcher, who has been of service to Our County as our State Representative going on her 4th year.  I would like to share just a few examples of why we all should keep Linda for our State Representative for another term!  I could go on and on about what all this lady has done, not only personally for me, but for our community, our school system, and the Bullitt County School transportation department.

  • Vote for Belcher

Our Kentucky 49th District State Representative, Linda Belcher, has been a tenacious advocate for our district and the people of Bullitt County. Through her bi-partisan work in Frankfort, she has obtained several millions of dollars for long overdue road improvements. She has sponsored bills to fight drug abuse and is a strong supporter of legislation promoting the education of our youth.

  • Vote for Layne Abell

Several months ago I received a summons to appear for jury duty in Bullitt County. My first reaction was how could this happen to me and how in the world can I get out of it. I appeared for jury orientation fully expecting to ask to be excused. After our circuit clerk Layne Abell explained to us how the jury process would work and how easy he would make it for us to serve, I decided to give it a try. After my three months of service was over I can truly say it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had.
