Some want to know if CON for hospital beds still has a pulse

 Back about 10 years ago, it was an exciting time.

Through a lot of work in Frankfort, it was announced that Jewish Hospital would build an emergency room, have diagnostic testing facilities and bring out specialists to occupy a wing of medical offices.

There was also the announcement of someday having a hospital with 60 beds approved through a Certificate of Need. The approval process for the beds came after the initial plans were announced and the facilities started.
