 Chapeze is located on the Long Lick Creek in Bullitt County, Kentucky.  

It is a small village by the name Chapeze Station and is twenty-four miles from Louisville, Kentucky.  Chapeze is one of the oldest stations in the county.  A land grant was given by Governor Benjamin Harrison of Virginia to Peter Shepherd and his son Adam who were surveyors in 1782.
