     UPDATE(08/22): Shepherdsville band Fallen From Nowhere earned second place honors at the Kentucky State Fair Battle of the Bands.

    The local band finished behind Identity Crisis, a band based in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.

    Fallen From Nowhere was the youngest bad in the competition. Each band was required to half at least half its members between the ages of 14-20.

    The band will perform Saturday, Aug. 27, at Bernheim Middle School in a benefit for student Jordan Reece. For more information call 869-4000.
