What do Julie Todd, Amanda Ross, Jessica Dishon and Karen Byerly Morgan have in common?
They were all killed by someone who professed to love them, a stranger or a family member. Since my sister, Karen, was murdered by her husband in August 2010, I have worked with women and me (he’s, men) who are in controlling relationships and families who have lost loved ones due to domestic violence.
I meet an abused woman at least four times a week.
From many stories told to me, I have found some COMMON characteristics in their relationships.
