  • Turf battle wages over use of land in city park
SHEPHERDSVILLE -- Is there enough property at the Frank E. Simon Park to accommodate two sports organizations involved with the youth of the community? That might be a question that must be answered in the near future. But, for now, the Bullitt County YMCA and the Shepherdsville Titans football and cheerleading program will do just that -- co-exist. In the past, the Shepherdsville football organization has practiced in the city park off Highway 44 West.
