SHEPHERDSVILLE – It hasn’t always been beautiful for the Bullitt Central Lady Cougar softball team this spring, but coach Buddy Gallemore’s squad continues to pick up victories including two more last week.
SHEPHERDSVILLE – With sophomore Jacob Kelly continuing his mastery over district foes, North Bullitt went into the den of the Bullitt Central Cougars and came home with a 6-3 victory last Tuesday afternoon.
MOUNT WASHINGTON – There are still three weeks remaining in the regular season, but the Bullitt East Chargers wrapped up the number one seed for the 24th District Tournament last week when they beat Jeffersontown 11-0.
SHEPHERDSVILLE – After losing to North Bullitt early in the week, the rest of the week didn’t get much better for the Bullitt Central Cougars on the baseball diamond as they dropped two more decisions.
MOUNT WASHINGTON – Being the first to take notice of his running skills paid off handsomely for Kentucky Wesleyan University recently when Bullitt East senior Scotty McIntyre signed to run both cross-country and track.
BARDSTOWN – The schools have not exactly come up with an official name just yet, but last Tuesday the three Bullitt County High School track teams took on the three public high schools in Nelson County on the new track at Nelson County High School.
SHEPHERDSVILLE – What was turning out to be a pretty good baseball season for Bullitt Central took a bad dip early last week as the Cougars dropped an 11-10 decision to Moore in the first district game for both teams.
MOUNT WASHINGTON – The state’s last undefeated baseball team suffered loss number one on Saturday, but it was still a strong week as the Bullitt East Chargers moved to 19-1 with four wins in five outings.
