SHEPHERDSVILLE – Over the first few weeks of the season, Bullitt Central baseball coach G.J. Moore lamented his team’s lack of hitting, giving his pitchers little chance of getting wins.
Coming out of spring break, the Cougars suddenly shifted gears. The hitting picked up and so did the run production, but then the Cougars started giving up a big inning. That led to some long games and big totals. Finally, that translated into a 1-1 week that saw the Cougars score 20 runs while giving up 23.
